Before Exec-Tech, Lewis spent over eight years as a recruiter inside an established firm, working the full cycle from mapping a market and headhunting passive candidates through to negotiating offers and seeing placements settle in. That experience gave him two things most recruitment founders lack: a disciplined search process honed on hundreds of live mandates, and a clear view of where the conventional agency model lets clients and candidates down.
As Co-Founder and Director, Lewis leads the delivery side of the business — running searches, managing the consultant team and owning the relationships with the forex brokers, iGaming operators, EMIs and banks that rely on Exec-Tech to fill their hardest roles. His approach is deliberately consultative: understand the business, the team and the hiring manager first, then go to market with a precise brief rather than a flood of CVs.
Lewis is also the person candidates speak to when a move actually matters. He has guided senior and specialist talent through career decisions across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, and takes pride in the number of placements who come back to him as hiring clients a few years later.
Between us we have founded, scaled and sold companies, and spent the best part of a decade inside the recruitment industry. We started Exec-Tech because the sectors we know best — forex, iGaming, payments and banking — move faster than the agencies that serve them.
Our model is simple: senior people on every search, a deep bench of pre-qualified talent, and honest advice on both sides of the table. It’s why more than 40 forex brokers, 25 iGaming firms and 10 EMIs and banks trust us with their most important hires.
We’ve built the teams we now help you build. We know what great looks like because we’ve hired it ourselves.
Forex, iGaming, EMIs and banking are not side projects for us — they are the whole business.
Headquartered in Dubai Marina with networks across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and beyond.
Whether you’re hiring for a critical role or exploring your next career move, Dan and Lewis would be glad to hear from you.
